Insurance Claim
Please
follow the specific claim instructions of the insurance company,
as listed on your insurance Certificate/Policy sent to you.
If you need another copy, please
email
our processing
dept and we'll send you another copy.
Check Status of an
Existing Freight Insurance Claim
To check status of
an existing claim, please contact your personal claims handler
at the insurance company direct. Their contact information
is listed at the bottom of your certificate next to
Surveyor/claims agent. You may also inquire to us by
email
and we will forward directly to them.
Please note
that we are not the insurance company, we are a licensed freight
/cargo insurance shipper's agent whom arranged and placed this special freight insurance coverage
direct with the insurance company, on your behalf, at discount
rates. As such,
we and you (as the insured) must comply with the insurers requirements and their
legal claims protocol. We do not process the claims, the insurer
does. Your claim
will be handled directly by a dedicated claims handler in the claims division of the
insurance company whom provided your coverage and you may
correspond with your claims handler directly to ensure a quicker
and easier claims settlement process. |
